FEATS

FEATS is the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies.

It’s a competitive festival for short plays in English, held annually since 1976. Twenty or so drama groups from continental Europe take part on a rota basis.

Tagora has been participating in FEATS for over fifteen years. Our most successful year was 1999, in Geneva, when we were placed second in the overall competition with our production of Three More Sleepless Nights by Caryl Churchill, directed by Julia Whitham. Christine Schnell won the Best Actress Award, and Martin Wright Best Actor – a feat we have not equalled since.

But there’s much more to FEATS than scoring points. It’s a tremendous theatrical experience for both audience and participants. Taking part is highly recommended.

In recent years we have produced Chamber Music in The Hague, Red Hot in Amsterdam in Brussels and Late Entry in Bad Homburg.
